Scholarships

Montessori Educational Center partners with several organizations that offer need-based financial aid to help families access a Montessori education. Learn more about each scholarship program and its eligibility guidelines.

Arete Scholars
Arete Scholars

Montessori Educational Center is an Arete Scholars school. Through private contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, Arete Scholars awards need-based K-12 scholarships to children in private schools that best suit their unique gifts and learning needs.

Arete Scholars currently operates under tax credit scholarship programs in Georgia and Louisiana. Scholarship eligibility is based on the income guidelines for the federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program (FRL), and award amounts range from $4,000 to more than $4,900 per year. Parents can apply for financial aid through the Arete Scholars website.

ACE Scholarships
ACE Scholarships

Montessori Educational Center is an ACE Scholarship school. Through private contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, ACE Scholars awards need-based K-12 scholarships to children in private schools that best suit their unique gifts and learning needs.

Eligibility is based on total income (which is line 9 on the 1040 for those who file) and household size. You can view ACE eligibility guidelines here (scroll down to select your state to see the guidelines for that state).

LA Gator Scholarship
LA Gator Scholarship

The LA GATOR Scholarship Program offers eligible nonpublic schools the opportunity to serve students using flexible state-funded education scholarship accounts (ESAs).

To be eligible for the LA GATOR Scholarship Program, a student must:

  • Live in Louisiana
  • Be at least 5 years old (but not older than 21) by September 30, 2026
  • Meet one of the following:
    • Participated in the LA GATOR Scholarship Program (LSP) during the immediate past school year
    • Is entering kindergarten
    • Was enrolled in a public school on both October 1 and February 1 of the immediate past school year
    • Comes from a household with income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level

Eligibility must be reverified each year to continue in the program. Requirements for LA Gator are subject to updates each year. Visit this page to learn more.

Tuition Rates

Tuition rates vary by age and the amount of time students are at school. Discounts are available for siblings and a 3% discount is extended when tuition is paid in full by July. In addition to tuition, there is a $50 application fee and a $425 registration and supply fee.
